Project Description

hand planter

Everyone that sees this in my kitchen comments on it – but everyone agrees it’s one of the coolest planters they’ve ever seen! I use them in my workshop as well – I’ve got one holding a bowl full of screws and the other is holding drywall anchors. If you’ll pardon the pun , it’s a very handy item!

It comes in three parts – the hand, the bowl, and the keystone that’s used to mount it to the wall. I’ll include a drywall anchor and a screw for mounting. The planter itself is not heavy but if possible, I would recommend mounting to a wooden wall stud. The bowl sits in the hand fairly loosely. It can be affixed permanently with a bit of superglue or if you just want to prevent slipping (which shouldn’t be a problem if you’re not handling it) a short strip of electrical tape affixed to the bottom will provide enough friction to keep it from shifting.

It’s ready for painting, if you so desire. Other colors are available if you don’t want the gray/silver shown in the picture – drop me a line for color availability. Specific colors may take longer if they’re not currently stocked.
